Managing Partner
Senior Wealth Advisor

Jennifer Kirby co-founded Talisman Wealth Advisors to do one thing well: help clients build financial lives in which they have confidence. Free from big bank biases, she can fulfill her fiduciary duty with complete independence—bringing more than a decade in wealth advisory and another 25 years leading organizations across advertising, law, the arts, and nonprofits to every client relationship.

Jennifer works with successful professionals and families, with a practice that has naturally drawn many women seeking a thoughtful, independent perspective on their financial lives—from investment strategy and retirement planning to the broader questions of what they want their money to do. Her path to Talisman began at Merrill Lynch and continued through The Granizo Kirby Group, her partnership there with Frank Granizo, formed in 2018.

She holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) designation through the Investments & Wealth Institute in conjunction with The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and the Chartered SRI Counselor™ (CSRIC®) designation in sustainable and responsible investing—an area she cares about, not just practices. Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film, Television, and Radio from New York University and an Executive MBA from Rutgers Business School.

Throughout her career, Jennifer has been active in mentoring and supporting women in business and leadership—serving on the boards of Women in Development and the Rutgers Executive MBA Program, and spending more than a decade as a Girl Scout troop leader in Cranford, New Jersey.

When not working with her amazing clients, Jennifer enjoys global adventures with her husband of over 30 years, Brian, and their endlessly creative daughter, a senior in the music industry program at the University of Southern California. Other interests include her friends and family—including her neurotically affectionate Bombay cat, Jiji—all things music, all things ocean, all things politics, and the occasional return to her roots as a pop and jazz vocalist.
